Standard per-educator prices apply. There are no group or workplace discounts for Rolling First Aid. The centre or individual educators can pay, and invoices are due within 24 hours of being issued.
How it works
Send an enquiry
Tell us about your centre, roughly how many educators and which courses. Rachel will get back to you personally.
Plan the roster and enrolments
Rachel and your director agree the visit day and appointment times by email or phone, or at an optional free 30-minute planning meeting. We collect enrolment details for each educator at this stage.
Invoice and payment
An invoice is issued to the centre or to individual educators. It is due within 24 hours, and payment is needed before enrolment.
Access to online learning
Once payment is received, each educator is enrolled and gets access to their online learning.
Online learning completed
Educators complete the required online learning and assessments before the visit day.
Onsite practical visit
Rachel comes to your centre and assesses educators in small groups at agreed times throughout the day, working around your roster. Arrival times are flexible, generally between 8am and 9:30am.
Included with your visit: First Aid Explorers resources
While Rachel is onsite, your educators can run some first aid awareness experiences with the children. These are not part of the accredited training and children do not receive any qualification.
- The complete First Aid Explorers digital pack (usually $35) to keep and reuse within your centre.
- Inflatable CPR mannequins, a touch-and-feel tray and a first aid equipment exploration tray, available during the visit.
Rachel sets up the equipment and briefs your educators. Your educators facilitate and supervise the children's activities, and the equipment leaves with Rachel at the end of the visit.
Common questions
- How many educators do we need?
- Rolling First Aid is for teams of 8 or more educators taking part. If you have fewer, we can talk about our other course options.
- Which areas do you cover?
- Rolling First Aid is offered to early childhood services in the Moreton Bay region. If your centre is outside Moreton Bay, you are welcome to enquire and we will consider it individually.
- Are there group or workplace discounts?
- No. Rolling First Aid uses the standard per-educator prices: $65 for CPR (HLTAID009) and $140 for Childcare First Aid (HLTAID012).
- Who pays, the centre or the educators?
- Either. The centre can pay for the whole team, or individual educators can pay for their own training. We sort this out with you when we put the schedule together.
- When is payment due?
- Invoices are due within 24 hours of being issued. Payment needs to be received before enrolment and access to the online learning.
- What do educators need to do before the visit?
- Each educator completes the required online learning and assessments before the onsite practical visit. On the day, they only need to step away from the floor for their practical assessment.
- Is the planning meeting free?
- Yes. An optional 30-minute planning meeting with your director is complimentary. Many centres are happy to plan by email or phone instead.
