First Aid 2 U
Learn. Lead. Respond.
Learn. Lead. Respond.
First aid training designed around children, not despite them.
Learn. Lead. Respond. is a different approach to first aid training created especially for Family Day Care educators and homeschool groups.
We bring the training to you, along with age-appropriate first aid activities and learning experiences for the children.
While educators complete the requirements of their nationally recognised training, children can learn alongside them through engaging, age-appropriate activities exploring first aid, safety and what they can do in an emergency.
The purpose is not simply to keep children occupied while adults train. Learn. Lead. Respond. recognises that children can be meaningfully included in the learning environment while educators complete the training they require.
Learn
Educators build and maintain their first aid knowledge while children explore age-appropriate first aid and safety concepts.
Lead
Educators model preparedness, confidence and lifelong learning while helping children understand that they can play an important role when someone needs help.
Respond
Educators practise the skills they may need in an emergency while children learn simple, age-appropriate ways to recognise an emergency, seek help and respond safely.

Designed for real-life care environments
Family Day Care educators often face a very practical challenge: completing required training while still managing the realities of caring for children. Learn. Lead. Respond. has been designed with that environment in mind.
Suitable for
- Family Day Care educator groups
- Family Day Care services arranging group training
- Homeschool groups and co-ops
- Small groups of educators who want to train together in a child-friendly environment
The nationally recognised course is undertaken by the enrolled adult participant, in partnership with Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909. Children take part only in age-appropriate first aid learning activities and experiences alongside the adult training environment; they are not completing nationally recognised training and do not receive a qualification.
