What is Kindy Uplift?
Kindy Uplift is a Queensland Government initiative that provides eligible kindergarten services with funding to build teacher and educator capability, support inclusion and strengthen children’s learning and development.
Through an annual cycle of collecting and analysing data, planning, implementation and critical reflection, each service chooses its own priorities with its advisory support organisation.

Kindy Uplift is not a separate program. Services using Kindy Uplift funding access the same service-wide implementation approach as The Depths of the WELL.

Every service is different. Your proposal is built around your service, team and implementation needs, then shared with you privately.

Through Ripple Leaders and a steady monthly rhythm, the journey helps your leaders hold the direction, carry the lantern for their team and keep learning moving into practice, without having all the answers.
Educator privacy
Your educators have their space. Your service has its space.
Honest reflection only works when educators know it is private. Your service receives insight to support implementation, never individual assessment.

Educators own their individual account. They choose whether to connect to a service and whether to share a completion percentage, and can disconnect at any time.
Clear roles and responsibilities
Your service retains responsibility for its Kindy Uplift plan, priorities, eligibility checks, expenditure decisions, evidence, QIP and compliance, working with its advisory support organisation.

The Educators Well is an independent provider. The Queensland Department of Education does not maintain an approved or preferred list of Kindy Uplift professional learning suppliers and does not endorse individual providers. The Department also warns services against providers marketing themselves as Kindy Uplift approved suppliers. Read the official information

What is Kindy Uplift in Queensland?
Kindy Uplift is a Queensland Government initiative providing eligible kindergarten services with funding to build teacher and educator capability, support inclusion and strengthen children’s learning and development.
Can Kindy Uplift funding be used for professional development?
Funding can be used for eligible professional development, programs, resources and supports. Each service remains responsible for checking current eligibility and allowable expenditure with its advisory support organisation and official guidance.
Is The Educators Well an approved Kindy Uplift provider?
There is no Queensland Department of Education approved or preferred supplier list for Kindy Uplift professional learning and practice support. The Department does not endorse individual providers. The Educators Well is an independent provider.
Does The Educators Well decide our priority or complete our QIP?
No. Your service identifies its priority area or areas through its own data-informed planning, and retains responsibility for its QIP and compliance obligations. We support educator development, reflection and implementation.
Can The Depths of the WELL support more than one priority area?
The personalised journey can respond to the priorities your service has selected while retaining its educator-first approach. This does not guarantee how expenditure will be treated for funding purposes.
Is Kindy Uplift a separate program from The Depths of the WELL?
No. Kindy Uplift services access the same service-wide implementation journey as The Depths of the WELL, shaped around their identified Kindy Uplift priorities.
How much does it cost?
Your investment depends on your service, team size and the support included in your implementation journey. Once you've built your service-wide proposal, Rachel will prepare and send your personalised proposal directly to you.
Are educator reflections private?
Yes. Individual reflections remain private. Services receive only permitted overall progress information and de-identified collective insights.
